Hada Madrina

It seems that I am divided by two: me and my stomach. – Irma

She loves it all. And all of it loves her right back. And even when we are walking home from her sister’s house in a mini-halistorm after having eaten an I-can’t-even-tell-you-how-huge pile of (super yummy!) food, she still cracks the best jokes.

In the spirit of being completely honest, I must admit that I am not really sure what being “divided in two” means, although I am sure it has something to do with being ridiculously full…

Anyway, my heart belongs to this woman whose passion for idioms is delightful and utterly baffling, who eats cornflakes in her coffee, and calls us her family.

  1. I am so glad that your heart is in good hands! And Red is, too! I can’t wait to discover all the new foods that you are discovering. Bring home recipes (or at least the memory of how the food tastes) so that we can recreate them here!
    Besos!
